Born out of a year of touring the live hybrid performance, Maelstrom and Louisa release 'Let the Night' as an unhinged mashup of seminal Bromance-era hits 'Night Clubbing' and 'Let the Beat Control Your Body' re-envisioned with claws and teeth. A fierce anthem celebrating collective effervescence, 'Let the Night' is equal parts banging, modern techno and raw, joyful, punk energy.
lyrics
Knowing not yet what you are
Ferocious hope an unborn star
Oh so close and yet so far
I’ll take you there, say au revoir
It’s subliminal
It’s sublime
Brilliant, a thrill devine
Show me yours, I’ll show you mine
Don’t you worry, we’re right on time
Night clubbing
Night Clubbing
Subtle sonic savagery
Oh ravage me oh ravage me
Feed your curiosity
As we explore this dark city
It’s subliminal
It’s sublime
Brilliant, a thrill devine
Show me yours, I’ll show you mine
Don’t you worry, we’re right on time
Night clubbing
Night Clubbing
Some magic, some raw nerve
Surrender, and let the beat control your body
You're changed. Can't help it. Hone your edge
And let the beat control your body
Invincible. So seductive, that wildness.
And let the beat control your body
Get involved. Don't chase, allow this movement
And let the beat control

Vanitas is perfect in every way. Pace, technique, arrangement, and tonal structure aces any Turing test for EBM tracks. Can’t wait to play it tomorrow night at Skull Detroit! DJ Engine
It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
